About aluminium 2011 – Brilliant machining and poor weldability

Aluminium 2011 was created to allow great machining at high speeds. Doing so can result in fine chips being produced, but they’re easy to remove. Because it comes with such good machining characteristics, it’s often used to create very detailed and highly complicated parts. It can sometimes replace free-machining brass with no need to change the tooling.

What affects the price of 2011 Aluminium?

Supplies of 2011 Aluminium itself always impact the cost of 2011 Aluminium. This can be affected by political crises like trade wars and sanctions, climate change and environmental issues that can change the way metals are mined, and supply chain issues like the 2021 blockage of the Suez Canal by the giant container ship the Ever Given.
